BBC‘s weatherman Owain Wyn Evans produced an impressive rendition of the television channel’s news theme tune on a drum kit.
In the hilarious skit, shared on his social media, the flamboyant Welsh weatherman dazzled fans with his show stopping musical skills.

During the short video, Owain appears to round off his weather show before running over to a drum kit and rocking out as the BBC news tune beeped in the background.
Wearing his work suit, the telly presenter added an exciting flair to the usually serious countdown tune and the performance was dubbed ‘iconic’ by viewers.
“When they said try working from home I didn’t realise they’d expect me to do the music too @BBCNews@BBCNWT#BBCNewsTheme#workingfromhome,” Owain joked in the caption.
Fans of the weatherman were mightily impressed by his secret drumming talent.
“Started this thinking it was going to be really naff, ended up with a massive grin on my face. Owain’s got some real chops!” wrote one.
Another fan said: “Oh, that was bloody brilliant. Absolutely loved it.
“You’re a proper breath of fresh air Owain and I think Dianne would be proud knowing the North West weather was in such good hands. That was just what I needed. Thank you.”
BBC bosses also expressed their excitement, sharing a meme that read: “That is a fantastic idea”.
Others suggested that Owain’s rocker tune should actually be the new BBC News countdown melody.
After gaining such impressive online attention, BBC news presenter Simon Coy also teased in the comments section that it wouldn’t be the last time we hear of Owain’s musical talents.
“On #BBCNews at 1450 today – maybe – just maybe – we’ll be featuring a bit of live drumming… #saynomore,” the presenter wrote.
