Leading themed channel creators AfricaXP have signed a channel carriage deal for North America and the United Kingdom with View TV Group for broadcast on their Kapang CTV platform. “On the back of deals with major CTV and mobile device manufacturers like Hisense and Huawei, this further extends AfricaXP’s reach beyond our home market into the global CTV arena.” Said Craig Kelly, CEO of AfricaXP. “Having been a leading distributor of

The carriage deal on the Kapang CTV platform makes AfricaXP’s premium African themed channels and multiple international thematic channels available to Kapang TV viewers across a broad range of platforms and devices. The Kapang app is available on Apple iPhone and iPad, Apple TV, Android TV, Google Play, Fire TV stick and NVDIA Shield as well as on the Kapang Set Top Box and website.” Kapang’s ability to deliver our content across the broadest possible range of devices is crucial at a time when viewer consumption habits have fragmented. Content needs to be able to find its target market on any device the viewer chooses to use at any given time” said Kelly. To add to its reach, Kapang is about to become available on Roku, LG Web OS, Samsung Smart and Amazon Alexa.
