The End of the F***ing World season 2 now has an official start date in the UK and US, along with some brand new pictures.
Following the previous news that the series will return to screens in November, it has now been confirmed that the second season will launch on Channel 4 in the UK with a double bill on Monday, November 4.
It will then air two new episodes every night from 10pm until Thursday, November 7.
Not only that, but the entire eight-part run will be available to stream on All 4 after Monday’s double bill.
New pictures from the second outing show Jessica Barden’s Alyssa dressed as a bride outside a woodland café (above), as well as giving us our first look at new character Gus, a motel owner played by Taskmaster’s Tim Key (below).
Based on the award-winning series of comic books by Charles Forsman (as well as the 2014 short film), The End of the F***ing World follows the adventures of disturbed teenager James (Alex Lawther) who embarks on a road trip with new girl in school Alyssa (Jessica Barden) to find her real father.
The series gained a cult following after it aired on Channel 4 and Netflix, with immediate demand for a second series.
After that demand was met, it was also revealed a new character would join The End of the F***ing World season 2 in the form of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker actress Naomi Ackie.
Ackie will play a mysterious outsider called Bonnie, who has a troubled past and some sort of connection to Alyssa.
Alex Lawther has already revealed how he wants season 2 to start.
We’ll just have to wait until November 4 now to see whether that wish becomes a reality…
The End of the F***ing World season 2 will premiere on November 4 on Channel 4 in the UK and on November 5 on Netflix in the US, though won’t appear on Netflix UK until much later.
