A school Cookham is the best state-funded primary in Windsor and Maidenhead according to a comprehensive new guide.
Holy Trinity CofE Primary School was named the best primary in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead by the Real Schools Guide 2020.
The guide takes into account 45 different data points – including not just KS2 results but factors like progress, pupil-teacher ratios and absence rates.
The school received an overall score of 72.25 and was ranked 270th nationally (out of 14,879 primary schools).
Lowbrook Academy in Maidenhead was named second best in the guide, with a score of 71.70.
While St Francis Catholic Primary School in Ascot came in third place in the royal borough.
The guide, compiled by Berkshire Live parent company, Reach’s data unit, aims to give a far more comprehensive picture than traditional league tables.
