Cadbury baffles shoppers by announcing its Easter 2020 range in October – as fans beg to let them ‘get Christmas out of the way first’

Shoppers have already been complaining about festive products hitting the shelves as early as August, but Cadbury has taken preparation to the next level by announcing its Easter ranges ahead of Halloween and Christmas.

The chocolate company will be selling tubs of Creme Eggs and Mini Eggs next year, in a similar style to Christmas-time Roses or Quality Street.

A release date for the tins, which cost £5.99 for 319g – 409g of chocolates has not been revealed, but Cadbury says it will be early in the New Year.

However, it’s caused a mixed reaction with some fans excited to hear about the treats, and others claiming it’s far too early to be thinking about Easter 2020.
