M&S New Cocktails Perfect For These Sunny Days

M&S New Cocktails Perfect For These Sunny Days

Although we’ve been watching plenty of mixology tutorials online throughout this lockdown, it’s not exactly easy to get your hands on most of the ingredients.

M&S’s cocktails in a can always come through, though, and as long as you pick them up as part of your regular grocery shop, they’re a perfect pick-me-up. With summer approaching (albeit probably an indoor one) the supermarket has launched a brand new cocktail flavour that’ll make the whole thing a little sweeter.

Following on from their popular Passion Star Martini (which is actually just a porn star martini that has a name change after complaints by ‘feminist’ activists) the Pink Passion Star Martini is a similar blend with a fruitier twist.

Our INFAMOUS Passion Star Martini has had a cheeky Summer makeover and a pink version joins the popular range! ?It’s the same delicious cocktail, but with a fruity twist of raspberry, which blends perfectly with the passion fruit and vanilla (think raspberry ripple ice cream!) ? • • • #mymarksfave #thisisnotjust #cocktails

The pink version of the popular drink has all the hallmarks of a porn star martini, with vodka, vanilla, and passion fruit. The added colour and flavour in this one comes from raspberry, and M&S have said that the mix makes the cocktail taste just like a raspberry ripple ice cream.

Announcing the launch on Instagram, M&S said ‘Our INFAMOUS Passion Star Martini has had a cheeky Summer makeover and a pink version joins the popular range! It’s the same delicious cocktail, but with a fruity twist of raspberry, which blends perfectly with the passion fruit and vanilla.’

The cans will be in store from now, and cost Commenters seemed delighted with the new tinny, with one saying ‘hats off to the genius who thought of that’ and another saying ‘that’s my essential trip sorted at the weekend’.

It’s a strange old world out there, and picking up a gin in a tin (or a passion star in one) along with your bread and milk and supping it in the garden with your favourite album on is one of life’s little blessings.
