The latest social media challenge #MeAt20 is taking the celebrity world by storm.
A number of stars have taken to social media to share throwback snaps of themselves aged 20 as the globe continues to entertain themselves amid the coronavirus lockdown.
One star who proudly shared a youthful image was Carol Voderman.
The Countdown star, 59, appears to have not aged a day since the photo snapped in 1981.
Rocking some seriously curly hair, 20 year old Carol beams at the camera dressed in her full graduation robes.
“Graduating age 20,” she wrote, “Engineering. Cambridge Uni.
“VERY bad perm. Inspired by Deirdre Barlow, Jon Bon Jovi with a hint of Cher #MeAt20.”
Piers Morgan also got in on the action as the 55-year-old Good Morning Britain presenter shared a vintage picture on his social media.
In the throwback image, a young Piers grinned at the camera as he folded his arms wearing a pair of tiny shorts with lipstick kisses on them.
“Me at 20,” Piers captioned the snap.
TV cook Nigella Lawson, 60, could not resist getting involved and despite struggling to find an image of herself at the age of twenty she posted a glamorous snap of herself aged 23.
Nigella smoldered in the black and white offering which she captioned: “Can’t find one at 20, so here’s one when I was 23.”
The food writer looked every inch the beauty as her lock locks cascaded down her face and proving she knows how to pose she threw a killer look at the camera.
Another star who evoked nostalgia was actor Laurence Fox.
The RADA trained star, 41, dug out one of his old headshots and joked that he still uses the 21-year-old snap to this day.
He typed on Twitter alongside the picture: “I’m pretty sure this is still my casting headshot. I shall report myself for a violation of the Trade Descriptions act.”
Comedian Julian Clary, 60, also posted one of his agency headshots where he pulled off an edgy Mullet and posed in a striped vest.
He struck a serious pose in the image that featured a short description stating he was 6ft2 and a singer.
Julian joked next to the image: “#MeAt20 seems to be a thing. So here I am. The word “singer” was used loosely back then.”
It is not just British stars who have been flaunting their youthful snaps as across the pond a number of Hollywood celebrities also joined in.
Busy Philipps, 40, also posted an image taken two decades ago and typed on Twitter: “Do I win something?”
The snap showed that she has enviable genetics as she does not look any different today than she did at the age of 20.
Josh Gad on the other hand could not look any more different.
The 39-year-old shared a picture of himself with a blonde buzz cut and with a svelter frame.
In the picture that showed him posing with a friend, he added: “#MeAt20. Obviously the one on the left.”
