Former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson, 60, has revealed he often struggles to drive his Lamborghini tractor. The Grand Tour presenter purchased the luxurious vehicle as he prepares to front his own show about farming on Amazon Prime.
While speaking about his farming disasters to Johnny Vaughan on Radio X, Jeremy denied reports that he has crashed his tractor 10 times and admitted he has actually suffered mishaps much more frequently.
He exclaimed: “No, more, more! I crash it every single time I get into it.”
When asked about why he has a problem in front of the wheel of the vehicle, Jeremy divulged: “It’s just so enormous and it doesn’t really stop when you press the brakes or steer when you turn the steering wheel, and you just hit everything.
“Plus there’s always an implement on the back of it which I always forget about and then you swing round the corner and you think ‘I’ve got this!’ and then there’s an almighty bang as your cultivator smashes into your bins or another tractor or a hedge or a telegraph pole.”
However, in spite of his issues with the tractor, the star explained he has been getting “used to” his unfortunate crashes.
He added: “I’ve removed so many miles of hedges with whatever I’ve got on the back of it so I’m used to it.”
Jeremy went on to speak out about another problem that his huge tractor has posed for him on his farm.
He explained: “The tractor barn’s quite big.
