Some of our favourite shows could look very different this year as it’s been rumoured I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and Love Island could be filmed in the UK in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
While the likes of Peaky Blinders, TOWIE and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK have all cancelled filming due to the outbreak, the fate of some shows set to hit our screens later this year is still up in the air.
ITV have not yet confirmed plans for the next series of I’m A Celeb or Love Island but new reports suggest this year’s camp could be a lot closer to home than the Australian Outback, while the next batch of Islanders may have to swap Majorca for Minehead.
“It’s believed the Love Island 2020 summer edition could shoot somewhere in the UK rather than go overseas,” a source told The Sun.
“A similar scenario is being considered for ITV reality hit I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! which shoots in Australia.”
