A Dachshund Cafe will be popping up in Reading later this year and it’s every sausage dog owner’s dream.

Organised by Pug Cafe the event will be hosted at Revolucion de Cuba on March 1, 2020.

Treat your little bestie to a day out at the Dachshund Cafe and they’ll get to meet lots of furry and fabulous friends, tuck into some delicious doggy treats from the dog-friendly menu, and pose for the PUParazzi.

Every dachshund attending the event will receive a free Pupuccino on the house.

You don’t have to own a sausage dog to attend – Pug Cafe say this is the perfect opportunity to meet lots of dogs and enjoy a delicious meal or drink.

When and where is Dachshund Cafe Reading?

Sunday, March 1 2020 at Revolucion de Cuba 138-141 Friar St, Reading, Berkshire, RG1 1EX.

From 11am – 5.15pm (end time tbc).

What is the Dachshund Cafe?

Dachshund Cafe is an event hosted by events company Pug Cafe.

For one day only, they transform a normal bar or cafe into a cafe for dachshunds, dachshund owners and lovers so they can enjoy a menu dedicated to dogs, a fantastic social experience and the chance to meet lots of new friends.

Do I need a booking?

Yes you do! You need a confirmed booking to attend as all the event is strictly booking only and they do not allow walk-ins.

Is this event for all breeds?

All the pop up cafes are breed specific so this event is only for dachshunds.

What can I expect at Dachshund Cafe?

Treat your furry best friend to a special indoor cafe experience just for them!

They’ll get to tuck into lots of treats from the doggy menu, meet lots of new friends, mingle and rub paws in a safe, off-lead space.

You’ll also get to meet fellow Dachshund owners – chat about all this sausage – and enjoy delicious food and drinks with a great paw-ty atmosphere. There’s also plenty of cute photo opportunities so you can grab the perfect photo for your doggy’s Insta.

How much is it to attend?

Dachshund Owners & their Guests £7.50 / Children 16 & Under £5

Dachshund Lovers & their Guests £10 / Children 16 & Under £7

Children 6 and under go free.

All Dachshunds go free.

Can I just turn up?

All events are strictly booking only and you will not be able to come to the event without a confirmed booking.

Does my Dachshund have to meet certain criteria to attend Dachshund Cafe?

If you are bringing your Dachshund, they must be:

  • Friendly and well socialised with other dogs
  • Up to to date with their vaccinations
  • Healthy and not showing any symptoms of contagious illness nor suffering (or recently suffered) from Kennel Cough.
  • Not in season at the event

Are Dachshund crosses allowed?

Yes absolutely! Tell the organisers what mix they are in your booking email.
