Chocs and Robbers

A panicked woman was scared after hearing banging noises at the front door – but thenrealised it was just her brother breaking up a Terry’s Chocolate Orange.

Chelsea Morris from Edinburgh, Scotland, thought her house was being broken into.

She text her sibling to tell him to go and check everything was OK as she felt ‘the whole house shaking’.

But the response was highly amusing – and has been shared by thousands of social media users after Chelsea posted the tale on Twitter .

In a tweet on Thursday, Chelsea wrote: “When you text ur bro from your room thinking the house is getting broken into and he replies with this.”

The text exchange with Ryan shows her saying: “I think someone’s banging on the door.

“Go check I’m scared.

“Like not tapping proper banging.”

The response is: “I was breaking up my terry chocolate orange (sic).”

In one of the comments on the tweet, Chelsea added: “My whole house was shaking I thought someone was trying to come through my front door.”

She retweeted a post from a friend saying: “Can’t believe my gal has went viral over a f***ing Terry’s chocolate orange hahahahahahaha LOVE U.”

One response said: “I am howling.”

Another wrote: “Sounds like something that would happen in our house.”

Many simply commented with laughing emojis.

The tweet has been liked 124,000 times and retweeted 14,600 times so far.
