Police have shared a photo of a car they stopped in Glasgow which had sofa chairs strapped to the roof.
The furniture was wedged into the vehicle above and below the open boot, secured with only a few straps.
Police said the driver was given advice about how to “transport couches in the future”.
The 49-year-old man was reported to prosecutors in connection with the vehicle’s load.
The Police Tweeted: Officers from #GlasgowRP stopped this vehicle due to its load. Driver reported for load and other offences and suitable advice given for the transport of couches in the future. #TheMoreYouLookTheWorseItGets#WeNeedTheManWithAVan
The officers shared the picture on Twitter, captioned with #TheMoreYouLookTheWorseItGets.
Comments on the post included a “10/10 for effort” and many others making reference to Rowan Atkinson’s comedy character Mr Bean.
In one scene of the episode Do-It-Yourself Mr Bean, Atkinson’s character straps an armchair to the roof and drives his Mini from it using a mop.
