Hot women are happiest with unattractive husbands.

In a triumph for visually challenged guys everywhere, a new study has discovered that the women who are happy in their relationships would be the women who marry men perceived to be less appealing than they are.

Each of the couples were in their late 20s, and all was married for less than four months, and the writers were attempting to better understand how physical beauty impacted relationships.

The study used full-body photographs to rank the beauty of participants on a scale of 1 to 10 and then requested the fans questions, largely focused in their motivation to diet and remain fit.

The research had what authors called “Beauty and the Beast” results; basically they discovered that if the dude in the relationship isn’t a regulation hottie then he is more into doing different things to please his partner including getting her gifts, dressing nicely, performing housework and essentially making sure his lady feels fulfilled in the sack.

“The husbands seemed to be basically more dedicated, more spent in satisfying their wives when they believed they were getting a pretty good deal,” the analysis stated. On the flip side, women who had possible DILFs for hubbies were found to more likely obsess over their appearance and also have more motivation to be lean.

“The results reveal that using a physically appealing husband may have negative effects for wives, particularly if these wives aren’t that appealing,” said Tania Reynolds, an FSU psychology doctoral student.

“One way to help these women is for partners to be very reaffirming, reminding them, ‘You’re beautiful. I love you at any weight or body type,’ ” Reynolds said.
