Comedian Kathy Griffin has seen her career take a nosedive since posing with the infamous severed head that resembled President Donald Trump.
Griffin has had a hard time booking her comedy show and lost her New Year’s Eve co-hosting gig with Anderson Cooper since the photo. But now it seems the comedian is ready to revive her diminished career.
Griffin has been invited by two news outlet to the White House Correspondents Dinner on April 28.
The Washington Blade and Los Angeles Blade, are an LGBT news outlet.
Griffin apologized publicly when significant backlash to her photo began last May, issuing a video in which she admitted, “I crossed the line.” But she later backtracked, telling media “I am no longer sorry. The whole outrage was B.S.”
