Mark Anthony Conditt, the 23-year-old Austin Bomber, just revealed what he thinks of his mental state.
Police believe Conditt is the man who killed two people and wounded five others in a spate of bombings that sent shockwaves through the city of Austin, Texas.
In his confession tape recorded on his cellphone, Conditt said he believed he was a “psychopath.” He continued by saying “I wish I were sorry, but I am not.” He also said he felt as if he had been disturbed since childhood.
Sources say he said little about his victims, but acknowledge the deaths left families without their loved ones.
The recording has not been released, but law-enforcement sources released details to the Austin American-Statesman on Thursday.
No motive for why the attacks were carried out was revealed by Conditt’s confession.
