Mark Conditt, The Suspected Austin Bomber Shared His Political Views Before The Attacks

Police say 23-year-old, Mark Anthony Conditt, blew himself up with one of his own bombs when he realized authorities were tailing him.

Accused Austin Bomber

Condit was against gay marriage and a pro-life advocate.

A profile for a blog online matches the suspected Austin bomber was found.  The post says that although he was not politically inclined, he would categorize himself as a conservative.

“My name is Mark Conditt,” he posted in his bio. “I enjoy cycling, parkour, tennis, reading, and listening to music. I am not that politically inclined. I view myself as a conservative, but I don’t think I have enough information to defend my stance as well as it should be defended. The reasons I am taking this class is because I want to understand the US government, and I hope that it will help me clarify my stance, and then defend it.”

Texas Authorities do not have a motive yet.

“We do not understand what motivated him to do what he did,” said the Austin police chief, Brian Manley.
