Giant Loophole Allows Someone Convicted Of Espionage To Run For A Senate Seat.
Chelsea Manning running for a Senate seat in Maryland. What is happening in America, how is there a loophole big enough that allows her to run for Senate?
In 2009, Bradley Manning serving, in the Army was sent to Iraq. In his 2013 court martial he was convicted of Violations of the Espionage Act and sentenced to 35 years in prison.
During Manning’s prison time, Bradley became Chelsea, with taxpayers money.
I don’t have a problem with someone being transgender, but don’t use my hard earned money to become one while serving a prison sentence.
And lets go back to his time in the Army. He was tried and convicted of espionage. Now she wants to become a US Senator?
I realize there are lots of problems with the people running our government right now. But do we really want a Senator who was convicted of espionage?
If she becomes a Senator, I’m assuming she will have access to more confidential information. Can she be trusted with that? And how can a convicted felon become a Senator?
Well, as I researched the answer to that it seems some states are a “no”, some a “maybe” and some say “yes.”
I’m glad I don’t live in Maryland. Personally, I would not vote for her, not because he became a she, but because I would not trust her with classified information ever again.
