Fixer Upper Stars, Chip And Joanna Gaines Receives Unapologetic Backlash For Being Pregnant

Chip and Joanna Gaines, stars of Fixer Upper, decided this season is their last because they want to spend more time with their children. And then announce they’re expecting their 5th child. What a blessing! No, you say? Why not?

“Thanks for contributing to over-population.” “A bad relationship can’t be fixed by having another kid.” What?

Wow. Talk about backlash!

I’ve watched this couple. The Gaines’ appears to be in a very happy relationship and have a wonderful family. I’m sure they’ve made enough money from the show to not have to work and now make their family their only priority. So what’s wrong with that?

How many hard working couples would love the opportunity to add a child to their family, but can’t afford to do so?

I think both of their decisions are wonderful and I’d go so far as to say, “God-centered.” They’re not so greedy as to keep working, working, working while leaving their kids to sitters, nannies, and housekeepers just to keep making more and more money.

Chip and Joanna appear to be a very happy couple. They seem to have made some wise choices for themselves and their family. I wish them the very best. They are an excellent example of loving parents and a loving couple.

And lastly, to all the “backlashers.” Get a life. It’s none of your business.
