Chrissy Teigen weighed in on YouTube star Logan Paul’s video showing a suicide victim’s body. She’s getting pushback for seemingly suggesting to go easy on Logan.
Logan is in a lot of heat for traveling to Japan’s Aokigahara forest, at Mount Fuji’s base and filming a dead body he encountered there. He uploaded the video to his YouTube channel but quickly took it down due to the backlash.
The interesting thing is that forest is often referred to as “suicide forest” due to the high number of suicides that occur there. So by booking a flight then arriving in Japan to purposely videotape inside a forest known for suicides and then apologize for doing it came across as more than just a mistake.
The 22-year-old YouTube star boasts 15 million followers and has an endorsement with HBO and Pepsi.
Teigen tweeted that maybe the right thing is to accept an apology and move on which didn’t go over well with some fans.
The pushback came hard and fast. Here’s an example of one.
For some, it sounded like Teigen was supporting Logan Paul.
But back to Chrissy over explaining herself from all the onslaught.
A fellow YouTube star also slammed Logan Paul.
