The union of two into marriage takes some give and take. Some compromise can be great for a couple. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are no different. Prince Harry has reportedly given up one of his long-term habits for Meghan, at least while at home.
But let’s first look at the once ‘Bad Boy’ to see how much he’s changed already over the years.
He used to be referred to as “Dirty Harry.” That’s a bit unfair considering it was comparing him to “Perfect” Prince William.
Harry’s naked vacation trip to Las Vegas kind of reinforced the notion of “Dirty Harry,” He’s definitely got a party gene in him. But he seems to have outgrown that scene.
He’s been reported to have used drugs. Which it’s been a long time since he was caught at 17-years-old.
He’s known to have a stiff, strong drink now and again.
And it may not be marijuana any longer, but Harry definitely enjoys smoking now and again.
So what has Harry had to give up? Per the Mail on Sunday, the prince has kicked an unhealthy habit as a result of the new relationship: yes, Harry has reportedly quit smoking.
Smoking was officially banned at the palace, and at Nottingham Cottage, where Harry and Meghan live. But Harry didn’t always listen to that rule.
The source says, “Harry has promised no smoking at all at home. It’s not nice for Meghan as a non-smoker. So there’s no more hanging out of the window for a quick puff. Harry has quit for Meghan.”
But notice that the no smoking clause has a requirement on it – while “at home.”
