After 30-Years Absence It’s Finally Coming Back To Saudi Arabia
Seems new Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al-Saud is ready for more entertainment in Saudi Arabia!
It was announced today that a Royal Decree has been issued to bring the entertainment world to the Saudi people.
2016 was the first year a movie was made there, directed by a woman and entered into the Oscar bids as well as the Berlin Film Festival.
A Comic-Con last February was attended by over 10,000 people.
As the country moves away from cleric control and more into a progressive state, it was announced that by 2030, it is expected there will be more than 2,000 theaters in the country.
The Crown Prince said it is an economically sound idea. More employment and training. More tourists attractions.
I think it will be interesting to see what types of movies will come from this country. There’s always room for more entertainment and all the jobs that one film alone produces!
