The Charmed sisters are in a feud about what Alyssa Milano said concerning the #MeToo movement. They seemed to be united on all fronts battling the mostly male sexual assault accusations, that is until Milano spoke out of turn.
Rose McGowan got into it with her charmed co-star when she defended Harvey Weinstein’s estranged wife, Georgina Chapman. Harvey had been accused by dozens of women for assaulting them. Rose actually said she was raped by him.
What started the feud was an interview Milano had recently. Milano, who helped make the #MeToo movement popular by tweeting about it in October, said on Megyn Kelly Today on Friday that Chapman, a fashion designer, deserves to “come out on the other side of this” and is “a good woman.”
The problem with defending Harvey’s wife is that most feel she likely knew everything that her husband was doing to other women. And Rose McGowan thought so too.
“You make me want to vomit. You actually gave me a body flashback. Well done, fake one – People,” McGowan tweeted, alongside a link to an article citing Milano’s remarks.
To further make her point clearer, McGowan tweeted Milano about possibly supporting a spouse of another well-reported accused assaulter, Bill Cosby.
She later wrote, “Alyssa, maybe you and Georgina can call up Camille Cosby,” referring to the supporting wife of Bill Cosby, who was tried earlier in the year for three counts of felony aggravated indecent assault. The jury was deadlocked, and the case ended in a mistrial.
