August Aimes an adult film star who starred in almost 290 movies commits suicide after people attacked her on Twitter for something she said.
Aimes, whose real name is Mercedes Grabowski killed herself earlier this week, one day after being bullied on the social media platform.
It all began when August tweeted explaining she would not perform in scenes alongside male actors who also perform in gay porn, due to health concerns. According to reports, Social Justice Warriors attacked her accusing her of being homophobic.
August tweeted, “whichever (lady) performer is replacing me tomorrow for @EroticaXNews, you’re shooting with a guy who has shot gay porn, just to let cha know. BS is all I can say Do agents really not care about who they’re representing? #ladirect I do my homework for my body.”
After being accused of being homophobic (she’s bisexual by the way), August felt she needed to further explain where she was coming from.
“NOT homophobic. Most girls don’t shoot with guys who have shot gay porn, for safety,” Grabowski proclaimed. “That’s just how it is with me. I’m not putting my body at risk, i don’t know what they do in their private lives.” She tweeted
August further explains that she was bisexual.
“How am I homophobic if I myself am attracted to women? Not wanting to have sex with gay men is not homophobic; they don’t want to have sex with me either so byeeeee.” She continued
All that explaining by August seems to have gone on death ears for the angry Twitter mob.
But she seemed to be still anxious and worried about what people thought.
‘I don’t have anything to apologize for! Apologizing for taking extra steps to ensue that my body stays safe? Fuck you guys attacking me when none of my intentions were malicious. I fucking love the gay community! What the fuck ever! I CHOOSE who I have inside my body. No hate.”
August’s final post on Twitter declared, “fuck ya’ll,” before the actress apparently committed suicide.
August Ames, who was from Nova Scotia in Canada, reportedly died in Camarillo, California on Tuesday morning. She was only 23-years-old.
