Chrissy Teigen just recently announced, “it’s John’s.” As in John is the father.
Which also means Luna is going to be a big sister soon.
The model mama-to-be opened up recently to E! News about wanting to expand the family.
“We’re still trying … I’m going for, I mean hopefully in the next few years, because for me I really want to just knock ’em out,” Teigen said, adding that she’s feeling “good.”
“That’s my dream, I want to just be pregnant kind of for the rest of my life,” she confessed. “Not for the rest of my life, but the rest of my fertile life. So we’ll see.”
So will the new baby be a boy or a girl? It seems those who closely follow Teigen thinks it’ll be a boy. In January, the couple spoke with Entertainment Tonight at the 28th Annual Producers Guild Awards, when Teigen said, “A little boy is next, for sure.”
The Lip Sync Battle hostess, whose 31, later clarified her comments on Twitter, writing, “Since this is coming up again, I said our next baby would be a boy because that is the embryo we have left. A boy. So. Yeah.”
Teigen has been candid in the past about her and her musician husband’s journey toward conception, revealing in February 2016 that the couple chose to implant a female embryo during the in vitro fertilization which resulted in Luna’s birth.
This is also a well-timed announcement since we expect by the beginning of January, she’ll be gracing red carpets on the arm of John Legend, whose Beauty and the Beast duet with Ariana Grande will most likely find itself nominated for a Grammy, if not also a Golden Globe or Oscar. (Beauty and the Beast is still the highest grossing film of 2017, and its presence at awards season is almost assured because of it.) This means that Teigen will be once again modeling red carpet wear in her final trimester, as she did with her first child.
Teigen has opened up in the past about her postpartum depression.
“I have really good days and really bad days, and I don’t tend to talk about the really bad days. But I would hate for people to think those days didn’t exist,” Teigen said in her InStyle November cover-story interview, noting of her initial reaction to her experience, “I thought I was just being a selfish a–hole.”
John and Chrissy recently celebrated their 4-year anniversary.
