Creating Art Out Of Smoothies

Smoothie art on Instagram is pretty amazing.  The details and the color take “playing with your food” to a whole other level.

Hazel Zakariya, 30, a photographer has been doing this type of artwork for a while, and she’s pretty popular on Instagram.

Bringing you the Hummingbird today 🌸Small but courageous and enduring, constantly on the move looking for nectar. "Courage is the most important of all the virtues because without courage, you can't practice any other virtue" – Maya Angelou. Keep going and never lose hope, nothing in this world can take the place of persistence 💚 Thank you so much for all the love and support you have given me. It is very encouraging to know that people enjoy what you do..You are truly amazing and I appreciate every single one of you. Sending you much love and positivity this weekend 😘🙏🏻💕 ——- Base smoothie: Mango, banana, soy milk, coconut cream, kale, spirulina On top: Coconut cream, coconut water, mixed berries, spirulina

“I was into food photography at the time, and I was trying to garnish my soup. It was a pumpkin soup, I think, with coconut cream swirls, but for some reason, I couldn’t get the perfect swirls,” Zakariya said.

“But then I saw the opportunity to turn it into a tree, so I used pesto as the leaves, and then it started from there, really, and it got me to have more ideas.”

Hazel decided to switch from soup to smoothie since it gave her more options.

“Obviously with smoothies, I can incorporate more colors and more fruits. There are more ideas on that side, so from then on, I just experimented with that.”

“I put a lot of love and joy and all of my feelings into these creations, and I love to share that with people. With so many things going on in the world today, I think it’s nice to spread that positivity. … If it makes even one person smile, it means a lot to me.”

As promised, another smoothie for the #harrypotter series (you can have a closer look at it on my instastory) 🤗 Hufflepuff represents Loyalty, Kindness, Honesty & Friendship 💫 probably the most underrated house; although I have no idea why 🤔 They are accepting of everyone and produced the fewest Dark wizards out of any of the houses. Cedric Diggory was awesome! It is J.K. Rowling's favourite house! Helga Hufflepuff was particularly gifted at food-related charms and her recipes are used as the basis for many Hogwarts feasts (what a boss!! 😍🙌🏻). Professor Sprout is really cool (played by Miriam Margoyle – one of my favourite ladies and storytellers of all time 🙌🏻 she's hilarious and super cute) and man, badgers are fearless! Plus, it's a fun word to say 😂 If i didn't get Ravenclaw, I'd probably be a Hufflepuff 🙋🏽 any other Hufflepuffs in the house? 💛✨ ——- Base smoothie: Banana, mango, peaches, almond milk, coconut cream On top: Coconut cream, coconut yoghurt, base smoothie, blackberries, turmeric, spirulina . . . . . #foodart #eatclean #creative #eattheworld #cleaneats #aucklandeats #huffposttaste #healthyfoodshare #thekitchn #f52grams #kaylaitsines #healthylifestyle #beautifulcuisines #eeeeeats #smoothie #buzzfeast #heresmyfood #foodandwine #gatheringslikethese #foodstyling #foodblogger #foodphotography #gloobyfood #eattherainbow #smoothiebowl #thatsdarling #vscofood #darlingmovement #veganfoodshare

The final hogwarts house smoothie – Gryffindor!!! I always have The Sorting Hat's voice in my head saying this 🤣 – which so happens to originally be Godric Gryffindor's hat and fashion accessory 🤓 Stands for Bravery, Daring, Chivalry and Courage 🦁 Did you know that J.K. Rowling herself was sorted into Gryffindor too? Her journey is one of the most inspiring stories of success for me, and certainly teaches us the power of determination and never giving up ❤️ Any Gryffindors here? This one's for you 😘✨ ——– This one is rather challenging because of the intense red which tends to seep through the lighter colours but so so happy that i managed to get this done before my trip (literally not that long before leaving for my flight). I was too excited to complete the series and share it with you 🤗 Have a great week ahead my dears! 💕 ——– Base smoothie: Boysenberries, raspberries, grapefruit, coconut water On top: Raspberries, coconut cream, blackberries, mango, turmeric, cacao & carob syrup, spirulina, mesquite powder . . . . . #foodart #healthyfood #creative #eattheworld #harrypotter #cleaneats #yahoofood #huffposttaste #healthyfoodshare #thekitchn #f52grams #eatclean #kaylaitsines #healthylifestyle #beautifulcuisines #eeeeeats #smoothie #buzzfeast #foodandwine #postitfortheaesthetic #foodstyling #foodblogger #foodphotography #gloobyfood #eattherainbow #smoothiebowl #thatsdarling #vscofood #darlingmovement #veganfoodshare
