President Trump’s Racist Tweet Towards A Senator Overshadows DNC Revelation
So what caused President Trump’s racist tweet?
Both former Democratic National Committee chairwoman Donna Brazile and Senator Elizabeth Warren came forward with allegations that the DNC rigged the 2016 primary elections against Bernie Sanders.
Ms. Brazile has a new book coming out in which she writes that Mrs Clinton’s “campaign had the DNC on life support, giving it money every month to meet its basic expenses.”
Elizabeth Warren was a strong supporter of Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential race, but she did verify the DNC allegation.
Failed Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean incorrectly stated that “no one has said the primaries were rigged.” Despite Warren herself agreeing to exactly that on video.
The new revelation that the Democratic National Committee rigged the primaries in Clinton’s favor caused her supporters to tweet their anger and frustration.
But it seems that President Trump’s tweets got most of the attention.
He writes, “The real story on Collusion is in Donna B’s new book. Crooked Hillary bought the DNC & then stole the Democratic Primary from Crazy Bernie!”
Trump’s next tweet got more inflammatory by calling Senator Warren by a racist name.
“Pocahontas just stated that the Democrats, lead by the legendary Crooked Hillary Clinton, rigged the Primaries! Lets go FBI & Justice Dept.” Trump tweeted.
That’s when a fellow Democratic Senator Chris Murphy finally spoke up by tweeting his frustration with the POTUS. Murphy accused President Trump of using a 140-character tweet to send a “racial slur and a threat to jail a political opponent.”
Note he didn’t mention the DNC revelation about a rigged primary.
Warren shot back at Trump writing that his attempts to change the subject won’t distract from the investigation into whether his campaign colluded with Russia to win the general election.
“You might think your tweets are cute [Donald Trump], but they won’t stop Mueller’s investigation or keep your people out of jail,” she tweeted.
