Selena Gomez helped save a suicidal fan on Sunday after the individual posted a suicide note online.
As concerned fans and followers reached out with comments urging her not to go through with it, many of them tagged Selena, alerting her to the situation.
The Blast reports Selena, who’s been vocal about suicide since she began producing the Netflix series “13 Reasons Why,” started following the individual on Instagram and left an inspiring comment.
“I don’t care if you love or hate me, suicide is never the answer. If you need someone to talk to, please dm me – you are loved by your family and friends, trust me. I love you.”
Hours later, the woman announced she was hospitalized and is now getting help.
On Monday the songstress is seen with her 4-year-old sister, Gracie Elliot Teefey, sending an empowering message.
In the video, Gracie says, “I’m not scared.”
Encouraging her, Selena says, “‘Cause you are fearless, right? You’re not scared of anything, right?”
Then the two high five.
Along with the video, the queen of Instagram wrote a powerful message to her 128 million fans.
“I will forever let my sister know she is strong, bold and beautiful. She will be raised to know her voice matters. She is going to understand the importance behind being a leader and inspire others by her truth.” Selena Gomez
