A Touching Video With Linkin Park On “Carpool Karaoke”

Chester Bennington and his bandmates, Mike Shinoda and Joe Hahn, filmed this emotional episode of “Carpool Karaoke” just six days before Bennington’s suicide.  To watch the entire car sing-along scroll to the bottom.

The episode began with a message when it was released:

“With the blessing of Chester’s family and his bandmates, we share this episode, and dedicate it to the memory of Chester.”

During the 23-minute episode, Bennington could be seen teaching host Ken Jeong to sing and scream like the singer himself.

Linkin Park’s lead singer could be seen laughing and joking in the Apple Music series.

The group could be seen driving around Los Angeles ‘screaning'(scream + singing) out the band’s best selling hits like Numb.

The guys even pulled over to perform a dance routine on the sidewalks.

Less than a week later Bennington was found dead at the age of 41.  Cause of death was ruled suicide by hanging.

So far the video has been watched more than ten million times.

One person posted how unreal the situation was:

“Look how happy he seemed there…laughing, having fun with his mates…this was really recorded 6 days before he died? Unreal.”

Another posted about their emotions:

“I was crying and laughing in watching this video.. and can’t still believe that he’s not here anymore.”

There were comments about Bennington’s singing abilities:

“Chester is the best vocalist ever. His screams were beast, singing voice came from angel. We never saw anybody like Chester in the world. I miss him everyday, every moment. Love you Chester forever.”
