Liam Smith, a student at Bristol in England was on a first date with a girl he had met on Tinder. Tinder an online dating platform describe itself as…
“…With 20 billion matches to date, Tinder is the world’s most popular app for meeting new people.”
So Liam’s date with an amateur gymnast (this will be important to the drama later) went nicely. The couple had a very nice dinner after which they decided to head back to Liam’s place with a bottle of wine.
They had planned to watch a documentary on the Church of Scientology back in his place.
Liam’s date felt nature calling so she excused herself to go to the toilet. Unfortunately, the toilet would not flush her poop. So she took it upon herself to pick the poop up with toilet paper and tried to hurl the stinky object through a bathroom window and into the back garden.
It so happened that it was a double pane window with an air pocket and it does not open to a garden.
On top of that, the woman’s poop fell between the two panes and was stuck there.
Liam knew something bad had just happened because his date came back into the living room with “a panicked look in her eye.”
“It was into this twilight zone that my date had thrown her poo,” Liam Smith said.
Now, this is the part where her background as an amateur gymnast comes in handy. She tried reaching between the two windows but couldn’t reach far enough so she decided to lower herself upside down between the two glass pane and fish out her poop.
She was able to get a plastic bag around her poop and handed it to Liam which he then tossed back into the toilet. So it would seem things were getting better, right? Light at the end of the tunnel sort of thing.
The girl asked Liam to help her get out of the window and that is when they both realized she was stuck.
That’s when Liam had to call in some help.
“I was starting to grow concerned, so I called the fire brigade and once they had composed themselves, they set to work removing her from the window,” Liam Smith said.
After all the poop drama was over the two finished their bottle of wine and decided to call it a night.
As for the window, Liam estimated the cost to replace it would be 300 Euros. A friend suggested setting up a GoFundMe page which ended up raising over 1200 Euros. Liam and his date decided to donate the extra cash to two charities. One of those being an organization that maintains flushing toilets in developing countries.
When asked about a second date, Liam said he wasn’t sure due to his busy schedule but described his date as “a lovely girl.”
